Countryside Manor of Bristol Continues with 4-Star CMS Rating

BRISTOL, C.T. — Countryside Manor of Bristol has achieved a 4-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for the second month in a row.

CMS combines results from three areas including Health Inspections, Staffing, and Quality Measures, to get a combined star rating of skilled nursing facilities. The CMS Star Rating is based on a one through five rating scale, with five being the highest. According to CMS, a 3-star rating is considered an average rating for a skilled nursing facility.

Julia Olenechuk, Administrator at Countryside Manor, said she is immensely proud of the whole team for hitting this milestone rating. Olenechuk said the staff is committed to providing exceptional care and support to meet the unique needs of each resident.

Countryside Manor of Bristol is a skilled nursing center offering short-term rehabilitation for those seeking more medical attention following a surgery, or accident. The Bristol center also offers long-term care for those looking for permanent placement for their medical needs. Additionally, the center has a specialized 16-bed memory care unit for people diagnosed with dementia. The memory care unit offers specific recreational programming and activities tailored to those with the disease.

Countryside Manor offers recreational activities seven days a week, as well as therapy services from physical, occupational, and speech therapists. The center provides nutritious meals to meet the needs of each diet as well as dietitian services and consultations. Housekeeping services are also provided. Respite care is available for caregivers looking to place their loved one for a short period of time or if they have a planned vacation.
